Historic Rugby

An English & American colony dating back to the 1880s. Visitors can enjoy and learn from a national award-winning film and room-size mural, interpretive exhibits that trace the town's history, Victorian building tours, year-round special events and workshops, and can explore river gorge trails built by 1880s colonists, Shop for history books and gifts, Appalachian and Victorian wares and traditional handicrafts by area craftsfolk. There are two dining establishments and several unique lodging facilities within the community.
